    Captain Cook went to Australia from England with all the his crew mates. Many of them did not make it.Once they arrived the aboriginals did not know what was going on and got scared.If this didn't happen there would be an estimated %90 of aboriginal people in Australia.This occured because James wanted to find land and until he finally discovered Australia. This affected the aboriginals, because soon after others came to explore their land,some of the people in England and obviously James Cook.

    In 1850,the Government offered a reward to anyone who found a goldfield in NSW.Prospector Edmund Hargraves discovered the precious metal near Bathurst and collected the reward.This occured because the governnment decided that they needed more mineing places to be found.The gold rush impacted Australia's because if we did not have the gold rush there would probably not be as many mineing places in Australia.This affected the government,the miners and it also affectected the animals near the area.

    WW1 happened because the british had a fight with a with Europe and since Australia is friends with the british we fought beside them. About 60,000 ausralians died and many were badly injured. Many soldiers died from diseases and plagues. Their were many groups that were affected by this like the soldiers because most of them did not go out alive, the soldiers families because the families whose son,dad,etc died.If the war didn't happen there would be not such thing as the ANZACs.

    Before 1967 referendum did not give Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples the right to vote.But finally in 1967 they got to do what everybody else did.This occured because the aboriginals were not included because they had darker skin so they had to eat separetly and sometimes they are killed by settlers for being in their way.If this didn't happen.This affected the aboriginals,the settlers and the government.If this didn't happen we still would be strict with the aboriginals.

    The First Fleet is the name given to the 11 ships which left Great Britain on 13 May 1787 to found a penal colony that became the first European settlement in Australia.Between 1788 and 1850 the English sent over 162,000 convicts to Australia in 806 ships.This occured because the British were ready to settle in Australia and they needed somewhere to put the convicts.If this didn't happen many english people wouldn't be here.This affected the convicts,the aboriginals and the sailors.

    Today it is much different and not many of these things occurred. Currently Tony Abbott is the Prime Minister of Australia and lives in our capital city, Canberra. There are still things that go on though like earthquakes, floods and many more things.
