    Russia and Germany agree to divide Poland, and invade.

    World War II

    From the start until the end of World War II, there were several key events that took place, such as:
    - The bombing of Pearl Harbor, which brings the US into the war
    - The Battle of D-Day is the turning point for the Allies, as they finally become victorious against the Nazi German Army.
    - May 8th Nazi Germany surrenders and the war in Europe ends
    The War in Japan continues to rage, which is where President Truman ultimately decides to drop the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945.

    Post World War II

    The Blockade was lifted on May 12, after a short year of restrictions.
    The 1950s roll around, and in June, the Korean War begins, where the Soviet Union grants permission for North Korea to invade South Korea.
    During this Korean War, in 1952 Stalin proposes a neutral Germany to the west, and they reject his proposal. Stalin ultimately dies in 1953 the following year, almost exactly a year apart.
    The Korean War also ends in 1953, where captive troops were finally able to return home.

    Cold War

    Throughout the Cold War there were several different scandals that appeared throughout the years, such as the "Red Scare" where America went into hysteria due to the fear of communist spies "invading" America, secretly plotting to take over and turn the democratic America into a communist America.

    George Kennan deploys his telegram of "Containment" of communism in Soviet Russia.

    Post World War II

    After Kennans Telegram, Winstom Churchill(former Prime Minister of the UK), gives his "Iron Curtain" speech, afterward, the Truman Doctrine is announced, and the Marshall Plan comes to aid.
    Germany is split into Western and Eastern Germany, each controlled by different powers.
    In Berlin, the Blockade begins. The Blockade restricted the Western Allies railways and roads, and Russia only said they'd drop the Blockade if the Allies gave up the newly developed Western area.

    Ronald Reagan

    Many different events happen throughout the 80s. Most noteably, Elections are held in Poland, and the Wall in Berlin is destroyed, and many Germans are finally able to see their loved ones and friends from years prior.
  • Ronald Reagan

    Ronald Reagan becomes president of the United States.
  • German Reunification

    Germans are fully reunited, no more west and east Germany. West Germany absorbs East Germany, and 5 federal states on the former territory join the Federal Republic of Germany.
  • Cold War ends

    The first day of January 1991 sparked joy in the people as the Cold War finally ends, as 45 years of war ends. In the beginning, people were accused of being communists, Russians test an atomic bomb, and the Korean War rages. People are beginning to be executed for communism, and eventually the war in Korea ends. In the end, it may be hard to see if all of it was worth the result, however its rest assured the world is at peace now.
  • USSR Dissolves

    The Soviet Union inevitably crumbles, as they were no longer able to keep control of the two parts, and the Baltic republics were beginning to turn away from communism, and instead, independence. On December 26th, 1991, The Soviet Union is no more, and the USSR dissolves.
