    The second War time meeting during WW2. The meeting included Churchill of Britain, Stalin of USSR, Franklin D. Roosevelt of US. The leaders came upon an agreement to demand Germany's unconditional surrender, and began planning for the post-war.

  • Potsdam Coference

    The lack of a common enemy in Europe led to difficulties reaching consensus concerning postwar reconstruction on the European continent. They agreed to further into the Yalta discussion. Many say the Versailles Treaty had handicapped the German economy and fueled the rise of the Nazis.

  • Marshall Plan

    This was a programme of economic aid offered by the United States to any European country. The plan was rejected outright by Stalin and any Eastern Bloc country considering accepting aid was reprimanded severely. Consequently the aid was only given to Western European Countries.
