    what effect it had on the cold war: The soviets left the north in 1948 the americans left in 1949, North korea still wanted revenge so in 1950 the passed the 38th parallel to attack Stalin leading america and 17 others joined troops to push back the Koreans.
    what effect it had on Liberalism: Nearly 5 million soldiers and civilians lost their lives during this war.

    What: Harry S. Truman established that the US would support anti- communist countries under threat from external forces.

    What effect it had on the cold war: These external forces ended up striking hard on these weaker countries demolishing them in the cold war.
    What effect it had on Liberalism: There was more freedom as the US funded a 400 million dollar economic and military aid to these weaker countries giving them a hope

    What: George Marshall announced a 15 Billion dollar plan to help the destroyed european countries
    Where: United States helped 16 more countries than the Truman Doctrine

    What effect it had on the cold war: In early june european governments joined together in paris to discuss a soviet alternative plan ( Molotov plan( same thing))
    What effect it had on Liberalism: while americans were giving money to these suffering european countries the soviet were just taking it

    what: It was the Soviets attempt at limiting travel from America, Great Britain, and Frace to their sectors in berlin which lie in Russian East Germany
