At age 40 while in a cave near Mecca, Muhammad is believed to have a visit from the angel, Gabriel, who recites the first revelations of the Quran and tells him that he is to be a prophet of God. Muhammad then tells his people to worship his one true God, but he and his followers are persecuted.

After being persecuted in Mecca, Muhammad and his followers move to modern day Medina where he establishes an Islamic state based on the commands shown in the Quran and the guidance coming to him from God. Eventually he begins to invite other nations to Islam.

Muhammad returns peacefully to Mecca and eventually all of the city accepts Islam. All idols are cleared away and worship is redirected to God.
