    An agreement between united states, many indian tribes was signed in for laramie if wyoming. It gave the Lakota ownership of the black hills, it also gave him more land in hunting rights and in other states.

    was a religious movement which was incorperated with Native Americanbelief system. Poroper practice of the dance would reunite the living witht he spirits of the dead and bring peace, prosperity, and unity to native people through out the religion. Didnt become a big thing until 1889.

    One of the most significant battles of 1874-75 Indian campaign. Major battle of Red River War, which ended in confenment of Southern Plains Indians. Officer Makenzie and troops came in to destroy the Indians home.

    Was fought near the little bighorn river in Montana territory, pitted federal troops led by Lieutenant Colonel Ceorge Armstrong Cluster against a band of Lakota Sioux and Cheyenne worriers. Intention between them had arised since gold had been discovered. This event became knowin as Custer's Last Stand.

    For a year and a half Cheif Geronmio and his band of Apaches were terriorzing the southwest. When he was captured he had approximently 30 men with him. He was a risky Indian who took chances. The night he was found him and many men and women snuck away in the dark.
