    Taken a few course that may pertain to a career path. Example: AP Science course in Biology because you want to know more about living organizms or you choose to take vo-tech course because you are planning opening your own business in auto mechanics or hair design.
  • Junior Year

    Your Junior year you will be setting up your career path in full. The decisions you have chosen will begin to take hold. Academically you have elected to take courses that will benefit you career path after high school. If college is in the picture, good SAT scores are vital to choosing your place of study.
  • Senior year

    Senior year
    Your senior year is very important to your future. At this stage in your education you have selected courses and/or a career path that you are interested in pursuing. Vo-tech, general education and advanced courses are different paths you could have chosen. You are applying for colleges, looking at employment plans, and becoming more involved in the working world. This means more responsibility.

    Now that you have been out of high school for a year and have been making you own decisions regarding your life, things begin to start compounding on you. Cost for college, working at entry level jobs, living on your own, are just some things that you may not have thought too much about in high school.
  • Second year from HS

    Second year from HS
    Two years out of high school you begin to realize that you are in charge of your future more than ever. If you are in college, you begin taking classes that are more advanced and are course requirements for your chosen major. You may have a part-time job for extra cash. If you are in the working world, you may be living on your own and realize bills and expenses will never stop, so an organized budget becomes very important.
  • Third year out of HS

    Third year out of HS
    Three years out of high school you may have changed majors in college or you may have chosen another job opportunity in the working world that fits into your discovered desires, current economic situation in the country, or you realized you did not like your first choice. You are still building a career path at this point.
  • Four years out of HS

    Four years out of HS
    Four years out of high school is a pivotal time in your life. You are 22-23 years old. You may have met someone. You may be married, even have a kid of your own. If you are in college you are taking the final course needed to receive your degree in your chosen field. You begin applying for a career in your field of study. You begin to understand that this is it. I will be in the working world. Responsibility to my family, my community, my country, and me begins to take hold.
