    The Nika Revolt was a mass riot caused by the Blues and the Greens(higher and lower classes) that had joined up to uprise against the Emperor Justinian. The riots started on January 13, 532 and had lasted for five days. The riots caused almost half of Constantinople to be burned and 30,000 casualties.

    Constantinople finally falls to the Ottoman Turks, after ten years of fighting. After the long decline of the Byzantine Empire, it is now at an end. There had already been many failed attempts to conquer the city, but on May 27, 1453, Mehmed launched a mass land and sea attack overthrowing the Byzantines.
