Had my first student from a different placement come in to my classroom. Started to learn how to assess new students and create a repoire with them and how to build that relationship versus with my other students that I had known for a while.

Presented my very first IEP as an intern teacher, got to meet parents and hear their concerns versus just talking to them over the phone. Very surreal experience, helped me to really put their struggles in perspective and understand more where they were coming from.
