Gladwells claim that the time someone was born can affect their success rate. I was born toward the end of the cut off date for school, making me one of the older kids in my class. This gave me a longer time to grow up in kindergarten and mature. -
Genius
Gladwell had a claim that, you may be a genius but if you don't have the people skills to go with it. This claim does not relate to me because I am not a very smart person but I do not have a problem with talking to me and people skills can make up for intelligence but it can not work visa versa. -
Ethnicity
The claim that Gladwell had was that ethnicity will affect someone on the job that they get. This specific claim never related to me because I am a mix of a bunch of different European ethnicitys. I have never been affected by someone saying no to me because of my ethnicity. -
Ancestors aditude
Gladwell claimed that the way someone acts, whether it be agressivly or passivly has to do with how your ancestors were. I believe his relates to me because I have a lot of French in me and they were passive people and so am I. I do not get worked up about a lot of things easily. -
Practice
Gladwell claims that one person needs 10,000 hours of practice to be considered a complete master of their trade.This relates to me by the way of soccer. The more I practice at soccer the better I get but I do not believe I will ever reach the 10,000 hours. -
ancestors
Gladwell claims that the way that your ancestors had to adapt and think will carry over to you as you go through every day life. This claim does not affect me because I do not know where all of my ancestors were from and there were so many different ethnicitys in them. -
School
Gladwell claims that how intense of the school you go to will affect if you are successful or not. This claim relates to me because I go to a very nice school and most people who leave here end up being successful.
