    First Time at Campmeeting

When I was two months old, I went to Campmeeting at Davidson Campground for the first time. It is a ten day revival every summer where families go to camp in campers or in cabins and go to church every night. Daily, kids play water balloons, ride bikes, and do crafts, while teens do youth activities like volleyball. Adults usually sit on the porches of cabins and connect with their friends. I've gone every summer since I was born and it is absolutely my favorite place on earth.

    Started Gymnastics

I started gymnastics classes when I was five years old and I competed until I made the cheer team at the end of sixth grade. I would practice for three hours, three days a week, and it was exhausting. However, starting out in gymnastics so early helped develop my athleticism, my good attitude, and lifelong friendships.

    Baptism

I got baptized when I was 9 years old at Davidson Campground in a cow trough. I am so glad that I was able to publicly display my faith to everyone who watched. I believed that this changed my life and my faith in God.

    Signed Up for Soccer

The fall of my freshman year, I signed up to play soccer again for the first time since I was about six years old. It had been a while since I played a competitive sport and I absolutely loved it. It was amazing that I could be as aggressive as I wanted.

    Miss Southwest Arkansas' Outstanding Teen

At 14 years old, I won my first Miss America system pageant, Miss Southwest Arkansas' Outstanding Teen. I went on to compete in the Miss Arkansas Outstanding Teen pageant this past summer. I started working with the Percy and Donna Malone Child Safety Center as a part of my platform, Child Advocacy: A Chance to Be Heard. I have made so many friends, so many connections, and learned so much through this organization.
