The birth of The Great Lenin
Lenin was born on April 10th 1870 in a Moscow hospital. He was born into a middle class family. He had other brothers sand sisters and had the most thick,curly blonde hair. The disasters of a family!
Lenin found out that his brother Aleksandr Ulyanov tried to kill the tsar at the time Alexander the III. The family was horrified and felt angry at him. He was executed further on. Aleksandr is seen in the photo. (Fischer, pg.11, The Life of Lenin) -
Lenin and his travels!
During his families stay at the wonderful city of Samara (with the big rolling hills and the Volga River) Lenin traveled to St.Petersburg multiple times to continue his marxist view and for school. The picture is a building in Samara city. (Fischer, pg.20, The Life of Lenin) -
Lenin gets his first major job!
Lenin is signed into office to be the minister of Education for St.Petersburg. After a couple of years of studying he became a major part of Russia. His future was beginning to taker shape. Lenin becomes a revolutionary!
Lenin becomes an active revolutionary to continue his pride in being a marxist. He wanted to expand the marxist view! Since all this was new not many countries supported theses new government ideas. So Lenin was arrested for marxist actives and exiled to the coldest place ever. Siberia! The picture shows a type of home Lenin lived when he lived in Siberia for his arrest. World event- The modern Olympic games start to take shape!
Baron de Coubertin founded the committee to organize the modern Olympic games. He did this because he wanted to make different olympic games than the old ones because the rules were becoming to old with the olympic player having to be naked and all the old games there could be new ones. He was born in France and was an educator. He died of a heart attack. (Grum, pg.449, The timelines of history.) -
Lenin gets married to another fellow marxist!
Lenin married his fellow marxist and lover Nadezhda Krupskaya. She was everything to him and special because she had a marxist view as well. Nadezhda Krupskaya was a schoolteacher at a local school in St.Petersburg. (Fischer, pg.22, The Life of Lenin) -
World event- Panama Canal started to be built
The Panama Canal was a major game changer for everyone not just the U.S. but mostly the U.S. They now had excess to cut lots of time off the voyages. Goods could be transported much easier now. This long and tiresome project first started when Panama got independence and had a 10 million dollar deal with the U.S. to start and build a canal connecting the two oceans. World War one started when the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand occured. then there was a chain of events that just lead all the way up to world war. this was a very bad and a war that shouldn't have happened. The Christmas Eve fight!
On Christmas Eve in 1914 a battle broke out between the British and Germans. The battle broke out in Ploesgstreert, Belgium. This would be one of the last battles of the war. British troops were told to keep firing down one the enemies trenches throughout the festive season. They stopped the battle for a Christmas celebration, the British and French and Germans, they traded supplies and they played football with German helmets. The Russian Revolution kicks off!
The people of Russia were done with the tsars and the king and they revolted Lenin led the rebellion. They called themselves the Bolsheviks. Lenin would be very happy if they won so he could have a chance to push marxist point of view on Russia. After the October phase they seized power and won! Lenin survives the worst!
Lenin was gunned down after Fanny Kaplan tried to kill him. She failed her mission but managed to hurt but not his spirit. He never stop his mission toward communism. The picture shows Kaplan who got killed trying to kill Lenin. (Fischer, pg. 29, The Life of Lenin) -
World event-Theodore Roosevelt Dies
Roosevelt dies sadly on Jan. 6 to an pulmonary embolism. A blood clot in the lungs. He was an amazing president for the U.S. he was the first president to create the National park service. He was consider ads the conservationist president. He added land to Yosemite National Park, he created Crater Lake National Park, Sullys Hill, Mesa Verde National Park. World event- Government of Ireland passes the Home rule act!
The Irish government passes the home rule act also known as the government of Ireland act. The people thought it would be best to rule over themselves, since the British government was not doing a good job. The people wanted a chance to rule themselves after all theses years, make things like there own flag, choose the type of government. (Grum, pg.477, The timetables of history.) -
Lenin Establishes the Soviet Union!
After the Bolsheviks won Lenin became head of the new form of government called communism were everyone was equal in every way. The death of the Great Leader of Russia
On January 21st Lenin dies from a massive cerebral hemorrhage. Which is a symptom that causes the brain to bleed out, sadly. Lenin lived a great live with lots of great events in his life. He made extremely great changes to Russia and overall helped Russia in the long run. (Fischer, pg.1, The Life of Lenin.)
