  • 1st Amendment

    1st Amendment
    The first amendment protects our right to freedom of speech, petition, religion, assembly, and press.
  • 2nd Amendment

    2nd Amendment
    The 2nd amendment is the right to bear arms. Any adult of age and a permit can own a gun.
  • 3rd Amendment

    3rd Amendment
    The 3rd amendment is no quartering of soldiers. During or after war no soldier can come into your house, sleep in your bed, and eat your food without your permission.
  • 4th Amendment

    4th Amendment
    The 4th Amendment is search and siezer, no one can come and search your property without a reason or warrant.
  • 6th Admendment

    6th Admendment
    The 6th Admendent promises you a speedy trial, with a jury. You can pay bail also so you do not have to sit forever in jail if you are innocent.
  • 7th Admendment

    7th Admendment
    The 7th Admendment is the right to a trial by an impartial jury.
  • 8th Admendment

    8th Admendment
    Prevents the federal government from imposing excessive bail, excessive fines, or cruel and unusual punishments
  • 9th Admendment

    9th Admendment
    The 9th Admendment gives people the right to decide on matter not written in the Constitution.
  • 10th Admendment

    10th Admendment
    The 10th Admendment gives states the right to decide matters not written in the Constitution.
  • 5th Amendment

    5th Amendment
    The 5th Admendment protcets you against yourself. If someone asks you something you can "plead the 5th" like in court so you don't contradict yourself. Also this amendment protects you so you can't go to jail for the same crime once.
