    Space was a rivalry for U.S and U.S.S.R. On July 16. 1969 Neil Armstrong, Micheal Collins, and Edwin flew to the moon. They were i space for 8 days, 14 hrs, and 12 mins. The race started in October when Sputnik was launched. There was no proven winner of the races. U.S were the first on the moon, but U.S.S.R was first in space.
