My beginnings in baseball

This photo portrays my beginnings in baseball when I was four years old. The uniform is important to me because it was a custom made gift from my grandfather. The name of the uniform was Coamo because my grandfather is from Coamo and he put the name of his village.

My first team

This photo was taken in 2000 when I started playing baseball in the category of 5 and 6. The name of my first team was Indian and I played second base position .

My team

Here I am in park dugout with my leader and my father who was the coach of my team. The leader is telling me that I should follow the instructions when hitting fence. The game that day was important because we were struggling to win the league championship.

My first championship

Here I am with my father and leader carrying the championship trophy we won in season 5 and 6. I'm with another uniform because I pass that year and was in another category with another team leader. My new baseball team called Gladiators and that was my first year in the category of 7 and 8.

Back in my first team

In this photo I'm in my second year in the category of 7 and 8 and I'm back in my first team, the Indians. I'm doing a swing because the photo was taken when I was hitting. Uniform colors are the same as when I was in 5 and 6 because it was the same leader of that team.

The team party

These are my teammates celebrating the festival for the great job we did this season. Our parents always ending the season made a party where they gave us prizes and gifts to us for what we had done during the year. That year they made it into the house of one of my teammates because he had pool to get us.

My start being pitcher

In this photo I was 10 years and I was learning how to pitch. By this time I was still in the Indian team with the same leader. Because the category was stronger as they needed me as a pitcher and shortstop and the photo was taken in my start as a pitcher.

The support of my mother

Here I am with my mother before the first game of the season. She always supported me in all my games and she did the best for me to have the necessary materials. I'm so grateful to her for all she did for me.

New oportunities

This photo was in my first year of the category of 15 and 16. I'm not in the Indian team because I change to another league in Bayamon to seek better opportunities for my future. My new team name was Raiders and my new leader was Motora Feliciano.

My last game

May 30, 2011

In this photo I'm in another category which is called Palomino youth. I'm still on the Raiders team that year but I had a lesson in my right shoulder. Since I do not play baseball this year and still have not lost hope of ever getting back in the park.
