The 2000 Oylmpic games were held in Sydney, Australia. Out of all the Oylmpics, this one was the most watched one on TV. Many people think that this was the best summer Olympic games. The Australians celebrated their country's 100th anniversary. On this day, the Australian's were proud of their country. Even before this date, the Australians celebrated their anniversary in a special holiday called "Australia Day". Think of this as Australia's version of the United State's Independence Day.
