Germans came to Australia to practise a religion called Luthism. -
The Chinese came for the Gold Rush. Most then stayed for work. Some work was Market Farming, Laundries & Restaurants.

the South Sea Islanders came to Queensland for working with Bananas and Sugar. -
In 1850,
the Afghans came for work with camels. -
In 1860,
the Japanese came to the top of Western Australia to dive for pearls. They went pearl diving and farming. A city they went to was Broome. -
In 1880,
the Lebanese came for draipery.
