A student needed emergency reconstructive surgery on his face after he was attacked on campus on Saturday. The incident happened outside the EC Stoner building in the early hours and the unnamed man was left with serious facial injuries and severe bruising.

North West Leeds police are appealing for information after a student was grabbed by a man as she walked through Bodington Hall. The 19-year-old woman had stayed the night at the halls on Otley Road and left at approximately 6am. Full Article

The University says it considering walking people home from campus after an “unprecedented” level of brutal attacks on students this week.
