    Neo-Classical was a popular movement in art that started in Europe and lasted until the early 1800's. It spreaded to America and many other European colonies.

    This war was where 13 of Great Britain's American colonies won independence. After this they formed the United States of America. It ended September 3, 1783.

    Jacques-Louis David's painting the Oath of Horatii(the painting shown) was painted in Rome in 1784. The painting shows a scene from a Roman legend about a conflict between two clashing cities. David was a friend of Robespierre, and was a dictator of the arts.

The Industrial Revolution started in Britain and later spread to Western Europe and the United States.The effects that this had on the economy was that population growth because people moved for work, illnesses from working in the factory, poor working conditions, poor living conditions, and faster traveling.

    World War 1 was a large war mostly in Europe. This war involved all the world's great power, which was put together in two alliances, The Triple Entente and Triple Alliance. World war 1 began after Archduke Ferdinand was killed. Over twenty-seven countries was mentioned as the Allied amd Associated Powers. WW1 ended with Germans surrendering and a destroyed Europe.

    The Egyptian Revolution wa a revolution in Cairo, Alexandria. It started by protestors wanting to get rid of the government of President Hosni Mubarack. Violence started between security forces and protestors. Atleast 846 people killed and 6,000 injured and it was described as a war zone.

    The Libyan Cival War was a conflict in Libya, between the army loyal to Colonel Muammar Gaddafi that was in charge and citizens that wanted to get rid of his government. The citizens protested about it and the government forces fought back witih weapons. About 2,000 - 30,000 citizens protested. After Muammar Gaddafi was killed their was a new leader.

    The Syrian Civil War is an current confilct in Syria between the army loyal to the Ba'ath Party Government and citizens wanting to remove it. A lot citizens rebelled against the government by protesting because they wanted Assad to step down and to end the Ba'ath Rule. On April 2011 the soldiers were ordered to open shoot at civilians. Between 30,000 and 48,090 people have been killed in this war.
