    Within a year of Hitler becoming chancellor, He and the Nazi party had took control of Germany. Two months later they passed the Emergency Decree and that just about ended all opposition to the Nazis. A month later was when they passed the Enabling Act the Nazis were free to do whatever they wanted.

    Hitler decided to boycott al Jewish businesses in Germany. There was country wide preparationa for the boycott liike posters and newspaper articles. The boycott only lasted for one day.

    Aryan Law
    This was the first anti-Jewish law. It made all Jews in the civil-service expelled. This means that they were fired and they could not get a job anywhere.

    Berlin University students decided on an act "against the un-German spirit". They collected books writen by "undesirable writers" and threw them in a fire. They burned 70,000 tons of books.
  • Nuremberg Laws

    Nuremberg Laws
    They were passed in two parts. One was called The Law for the Protection of German Blood and German Honor and the other was called The Reich Citizenship Law. They basically removed all Jewish rights.
  • Law #174 - Jewish name change

    If a Jew did not have a recognizably jewish name then they had to add Sarah or Israel. All jewish passports were stamped with the word Jude or a J.
