    The Nazi party had enough votes to be in power. Since Hitler was the leader it was his desire to determinate all Jews. Hitler had complete power and the rules of freedom of speech and human rights were suspended.

    Hitler set up a boycott against all Jewish companies because Hitler believed that the events that happened in Germany were made by Jews. Hitler wanted to stop that because he felt he needed control. If you bought from a Jew you were called a traitor. This made violence against Jews increase.

    This was the first anit-Jewish law. If you were a Jew then you were expelled. Jews were sent out of work in many German companies. It affected a lot of Jews. Hitler made this rule because he believed Jew demolished Germans.
  • Berlin Book Burning

    Berlin Book Burning
    Hitler and his leaders, mostly students, decided to burn books of the “Un-German spirit” where 70,000 books were burned in Berlin alone. One third of all library books in Germany were destroyed. Hitler didn’t want anyone to know anything but, his rules and to hate the Jews.

    This is when the Nuremberg laws was passed. Hitler made two parts to the Nuremberg laws. One was called “the law for the protection of German blood and German honor”, The laws that fell under that, was to only marry a full blood German and, you should have nothing to do with Jews. The second was called “the Reich citizen law”. The laws were, a Jew couldn’t be a citizen of the Reich. Jews couldn’t vote or have any business in Germany.

    If a Jew didn’t have a name where it would be easily recognized as a Jew the parents had to add on a middle name. The middle name had to be a strong Jewish name, like Sarah or Israel, so people would easily recognize them as a Jew.

The Nazi used this as an excuse to kill many other Jews. They called it the night of the broken glass because of all the broken glass of shot windows everywhere.

    All Jews above the age of six couldn’t leave their house and go in public without displaying the Jewish Star. They Jewish star was supposed to be a mark of shame in the Civilized world.
