    Anne's sister had received a letter from the Nazis asking her to come to a train to go to a concentration camp. Her parents were afraid, as they should be, and rushed their already made plans to go into hiding.

If you went up the staircase to the bookshelf, it opened and led to the secret apartment behind the company. It was small, but the two families found a way to live comfortably.07
