    This was the begining of a city which would one day be, on of the greatest known civilizations

    The golden age of the Greeks started in 500 B.C. and ended in 200 B.C. At this point the Greeks were the most surperior.

  • 499-449 B.C. first persian war

    started in 499 BC and lasted until 449 BC. In this war the Persians lost to the Atheins.

  • 480-479 B.C. Second persian war

  • 432 B.C. House was built to protect a statue of Athena

    this was in honor and to protect the statue

  • 431 BC – 404 BC Peloponnesian war

    this was a war between the Athens and the peloponnesians. This war was won by the Athens.

  • 146 BC the Greek fall

    Greece fell to the Romans, in 146 BC.
