    One of the Zhou Dynasty's emperor was Shi Huangdi. He was a very strict emperor who wanted eveyone to practice his beliefs and none other. Shi Huangdi burned all books that went aganist his beliefs and buried people alive who protested, so many were ready for the Qin Dynasty to end.

    The Start of Han
    After the end of Qin, Lui Bang became the emperor of Han. He was the opposite of Shi Huangdi and wanted to make things easier for peasents. Soon after Lui Bang, Wudi came to power and had a different government system. He raised taxes and put government control on grain supply. He also taught the teachings of confucianism, which taught others to be respectful to others and family.

    The Tang Dynasty came to power after the Sui Dynasty fell. The Tang Dynasty was a goden age, and some of the finest poets in China lived during the Tang rule. The Tang Dynasty also was the only dynasty that had a women ruler named Empress Wu.

    Song Rule
    The Song Dynasty took power after Tang and made many wonderful achievments. Cities began developing during Song rule and areas were becoming more populated. The capital city during this time was Chang'an which was a trading city. Trade became a large part of the city life. Things like food, plants, wool, glass, and metals, gold, and silver were imported from China. Another very valuable product was porcelain and type of pottery in China. The Song Dynasty made many achievments during this time.
