    This was a law telling all Native Indians living East of the Mississippi had to move West of the river. This pushed Indian's out of the land close to the the american settlement. Land was wanted by settlers. This way also caused when President Jackson purposely disobeyed the supreme court and attacked Indian Tribes living in the south. He disobeyed the court in the way that the court voted that they could stay and live there but he did not listen. One of the outcomes was The Trail Of tears.

    Custer's Last Stand/ Battle of Little Bighorn
    This was a battle fought by the federal troops led by Lieutenant Colonel George Armstrong Custer against a band of Lakota Sioux and Cheyenne warriors. These warriors were lead by one of the Sioux leaders Sitting Bull and also were lead by a leader Names Crazy Horse.

    The Apache Wars were battles between the United States Army and various Apache nations fought in the Southwest between 1849 and 1886, Yet there were still minor batteles in the early 1900's. Parts of the Apache was lead by Geronimo a mighty leader. The origins started a year before the first conflict when a fraction of Mexico become part of America in the end of the Mexican-American War.

    The Dawes General Allotment Act was enacted by the U.S. Congress regarding the distribution of land to Native Americans in Oklahoma. It was signed into law February 8, 1887. Named after its sponsor, U.S. Senator Henry L. Dawes of Massachusetts, the act was amended in 1891 and again in 1906 by the Burke Act. The act remained in effect until 1934.     Wounded Knee Massacre
    The seventh Calvary gathered around 350 starving and freezing Sioux and took them to a camp at Wounded Knee Creek. Soldiers demand the the Native Americans surrender all of their weapons to them. A shot was fired, but no one knew what side shot.The soldiers started to do what they wanted to and bring out the weapons like cannons. Children and more than 300 Native Americans were killed in minutes. This event brought the Indian Wars to a depressing end. It also was a "turning point" of the Lakota
