Decleration of Independence
The 13 colonies sign the Decleration of Independence in Philidelphia. -
First Slave Abolition Law
This law started in Pennsylvania. This law slowly took away slavery. -
Peace Treaty Ends Revolutionary War

This event happened because America wanted to expand its territory and British attempted to resrict US trade. -
Nat Turner's Rebellion
Nat marched to Jerusalem to end slavery but word got to the white people and messed up his plan. He continued to attack other houses to end slavery. -
Treaty of Ghent
This peace treay ended the war of 1812. -
First Seminole War
General Jackson captured the Spanish fort of Pensacola in May 1818. -
Indian Removal Act
President Andrew Jackson made this act to negiocate with the Indians in southern US for their removal of federal territory west of the mississippi river to trade for their homeland. -

The US government wanted to expand territory and forced Native Americans off their land and they migrated but ended up with illness and death. -
Texas Revolution
The Texas Revolution began with the battle of Gonzales and ended with the battle of San Jacinto.There were many social and political differences involved which was part of the reason for the revolution. -

This is also known as the "Highway to India". This is a sea-water way to Egpyt and was opened in 1869. -
Red River War
The red river war led to an end of an entire way of life for the Southern Plains tribes and a new way of life for Texas History. -
Battle of Little Bighorn
This battle is known as Custer's last stand. This is one of most famous battles in history. -
The Telephone is invented
Alexander Bell's family was all about commmunication. His mother was deaf which was part of the reason for the inventions he made.
