  • I was born in 1984 in North Dakota

    It's a pretty cold place. Growing up in Fargo wasn't so bad, though.

  • Floods moved us to Colorado Springs

    The big flood of 1997 really hurt North Dakota. My parents decided it was time to get out! I was in 7th grade.

  • Coronado Cougars

    I graduated in 2002 from Coronado.

  • Moved to Edinburgh, Scotland

    I went on a student exchange and came home married to my Scottish husband, Alex.

  • CU Boulder

    We moved back to the USA and I graduated in 2009 from CU Boulder with a degree in International Affairs.

  • My son Alistair was born!!

    Healthy and happy and back in North Dakota, Alex and I had a son, Alistair.

  • Moved back to Scotland

    We went back to Edinburgh and I obtained a Master of Arts in Creative Writing.

  • Won a trip to Cancun - Included for fun:)

    After I realized Creative Writing didn't pay the bills, I obtained my M.ED from NDSU in Fargo in Teacher Education

  • Having another baby!

    I found out I was expecting, and we are having a girl in May! Hopefully after the course is finished!
