January 3, 1903 Hitlers dad Alois Hitler died from what people think was a pleural hemorrhage. Hitler was 13 when his dad died and 4 years later his mother died. Klara Hitler died December 21, 1907. Adolf applies to the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna
In Adolf Hitler's youth he dreamed about being an artist. But soon those dreams were crushed when he applied to the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and got rejected twice because he failed the entrance exam. Even though he got rejected he still produced hundreds of works and and sold them to make a living during his Vienna years. Hitler joins the Army
Austria-Hungary and the German Empire entered the First World War and because of Hitler´s citizenship he decided to ask for permission to join and it was granted. Adolf was only 25 years old when he joined the Bavarian army. Hitler served as a gefreiter in the army.
