    "Law for the Restoration of the Professional Civil Service"
    This law excluded Jews & all "politically unreliable" people from state service. Germans were trying to deminish the Jew's involvement with almost every aspect of their dily lives.
  • The Nuremberg Laws

    The Nuremberg Laws
    The year of 1935 held the introduction of the Nuremberg Laws. These laws prohibited Jews & people of Jewish blood from marrying or having sexual relations with Germans or people of German blood. These laws also excluded Jews from the German Reich.
  • The Berlin Olympics

    The Berlin Olympics
    Before & while the Olympics were going on, the Nazis toned down their public hatred of Jews. They did not want the Olympics to be held elsewhere because of their openness towards antisemitism.
  • Kristallnacht

    Kristallnacht was a series of coordinated attacks against Jews by the Germans. Jewish store & synagogue windows were broken, Jews were brutally beat up, 91 died, & thousands upon thousands were arrested & put in concentration camps.
  • Jewish Identification Requirements Stepped up

    Jewish Identification Requirements Stepped up
    Beginning January 1st of 1939, all Jews with names with non-Jewish backgrounds had to be put behind a "Sara" or an "Israel". Jews also had to start carrying cards that identified their Jewish heritage.
