    The first mechanical computer
The first mechcanical computer was called the Analytical Engine invented by Charles Baggage .The analytical engine was invented to input data, the computer would solve and print the anwser.
  • The first programmable computer

    The first programmable computer
The first fully programmmable computercomputer was called the Z1 invented by Konrad Zuse. The z1 had 64-memory and a clock speed of 1 Hz but yet it never functioned properly. And so the Z3 was invented by Konrad Zuse again in 1941. The z3 built over 2,000 relays and a clock speed approximently 5 to 10 Hz. The z3 was invented to use binary numbers and convert decimals to binary and back again.

  • The first stored program computer

    The first stored program computer
The first stored program computer was called The Manchester Small Scale Experimental Machine -- "The Baby". Written by Tom Kilburn, built and designed by Freddie Williams. The baby was invented to test the soundness of the strorage principle employed. In a more understandable way it was mainly used to solve any math problems and reduce to programme instructions. With no mechanical or electro-mechanical circuit changes.
  • The first minicomputer

    The first minicomputer
The first minicomputer was called the PDP-1 which stands for Programmable Data Processor. The minicomputer was a machine used for computer games, time-sharing operating system, and well known in early hacker culture.
