  • Treaty of Versailles

    The Treaty of Versailles was made by the European Allied Powers and presented to Germany. Germany was forced to give up large quantities of land and money to the countries it had lost against in WWII.

  • Adolf Hitler becomes Chancellor of Germany.

    Hitler became chancellor of Germany, because he said that he could help Germany out in their troubled state.

  • Nazi Party declared Germany's only political party.

    Hitler did not want any other political parties in Germany to apose the Nazi partys rules and views.

  • Adolf Hitler becomes Fuhrer of Germany.

    Adolf Hitler now had complete and absolute power over the German millitary, people, and everything else in the country.

  • German troops occupy the Rhineland.

    Hitler ordered German troops to take over the Rhineland ( a very resourceful strip of land in between Germany and France.)

  • Nazis invade Poland.

    Hitler ordered the full-on invasion of Poland.

  • D-Day landings on the northern coast of France.

    The Allies landed on France in a major assault on the Germans.
