    Crazy Hourse, a Sioux military leader acted as a decoy that led U.S. troops into a deadly trap. he had tricked the commander into sending 80 troops after him. The troops were sent because he was an indian leader. hundreds of warriors to ambush the approaching soldiers.

    The treaty was signed to bring peace between the white men and the sioux. They agreed to settle and live in the black hills of the dakota territory.Then the gov. tryed to buy the land. Sitting bull refuzed to sell.

    The treaty said that no white man will come into the black hills not even to pass through. But word got out that there was gold in the hills. Then loads of people came to find the gold. Which made the sioux protest the treaty.
