On my 13th birthday, I celebrated entering my teenager years with my family. We had a small party with my Busia and Dzia Dzia, which is polish for grandma and grandpa respectively. I especially remember this birthday because it snowed. It didn’t just snow a few flakes, it actually accumulated to about ½ inch…just think of having snow in May!
