    One day in the summer of 1998, I picked up a book and decided I wanted to read it - and so I did. I was given books, and encouraged when I hit a tough spot. (Initiative VS Guilt)

    At this time, I began formal schooling, jumping right into grade one. With encouragement and praise from my parents, making good grades and keeping perfect attendance were two of my first major accomplishments in elementary school. (Industry VS Inferiority)
