My sister and I made our first meal together for our family. It was a ramen recipe from a cookbook my sister received that Christmas. -
Kana Chart Learned
Learned (reading AND writing) all symbols in the Japanese kana chart. There are 142 characters total. This means I can effectively read Japanese media that uses the syllabraic symbols, which would be just about everything in Japanese writing. However, to able to be FULLY literate in Japanese, about 1,000 or so Chinese characters (called "Kanjis") need to be learned . I've learned around 200 of those.
