    George Custer and his 250 soldiers underestimated the power of the Sioux Indians and lost in battle. This was a significant Sioux visctory.

    Law that wanted to break up Indian Reservations.

    Law protected trade and commerce against monopolies that unfairly restrained other companies from getting business.

  • Battle of Wounded Knee

    Army went to collect Sioux weapons & someone shot a pistol, triggering a reaction of fire from the army, ending with 200 Sioux killed.

    Immigrants registered here to enter America.
