    French and Indian War
    The French and Indian war was the point when the colonies of British America where helped by Indian tribes to fight back against the parent country, England. I think this war was a important event because it was the point in the war when the colonies got help form the Native Americans.
  • Lexington and Concord

    Lexington and Concord
    Lexington and Concord was the first battle of the American revolution. I think the event is important because it showed England that we weren’t going to put up with taxes.
  • Declaration of Independence

    Declaration of Independence
    The Declaration of Independence was sent to England on this day to declare our freedom. I think this event is important because it is showing England we can be a great colony without their control and it gave us the 4th of July
  • Battle of Saratoga

    Battle of Saratoga
    This battle of the turning point for the Americans in the American revolution. I think this event is important because this was the battle when French joined and when it started to get better for the Americans.

    This battle was the final battle of the American Revolution. I think this event is important because it was the beginning of not being controlled by England anymore.

    The Bill of Rights was The first document that was created to keep the colonies safe. I think the Bill of Rights is important because it was the foundation of all the laws we have to this day.

    The constitution was was written by the continental congress to set the basis of our government. This event was important because it was made to have a better government control to further advance our government

    This event gave the court a chance to have judicial review. This event is important because it is known to be a big court issue that started by Marbury suing Madison.

    Th industrial revolution was a period of time where we were able to create factories for a more efficient way of doing things. I think this event was important because it was a period where a lot of stuff was becoming more efficient and factories was one of the best ways to be more efficient.

    This act was enforced to let people settle in the grain plains. This event was important because it gave people a chance to become a land owner.

    Battle of Gettysburg
    This battle was known as the bloodiest battle to be fought on US territory. I think event is important because still to this day it has gone down as the most casualties to be had in America.
  • Gettysburg Address

     Gettysburg Address
    The Gettysburg Address is a speech that Lincoln gave after the battle of Gettysburg to try and make both sides feel bad for all the deaths there was on that battle. I think this event is important because is was pat of the civil war where Lincoln had to step in and say that it went to far from all the casualties.

    The Civil War was a War in between the Union and the Confederacy that was based off of slaves and black rights. I think this event was very important because it was one of the biggest wars known to man and helped us settle a debate that had been going on for decades.
  • 13th Amendment

    13th Amendment
    The 13th Amendment finally abolished slavery. I think this event was important because at the time slavery was a huge problem that treated African Americans poorly.
  • 14th Amendment

    14th Amendment
    The 14th Amendment was made to give everyone equal rights. This event was important because it was based off the recently enforced 13th Amendment so that everyone will have equal rights in court.
