    Lion of The Desert - Omar Al-Mukhtar movie trailerWhen the Italian Empire went to the Ottoman Libya in the late 1911 starting the Italo-Turkish War, a colony was formed subduing the free Libyan citizens.
    Omar Al-Mukhtar has lead the resistance movement in 1912. Having knowledge of the desert warfare, he had an advantage of ambushing the Italian army in several incidents until he was captured and hanged in 1931.

François Georges-Picot and Sir Mark Sykes had the agreement with the presence of a russian party.
