I have been in cross country since 7th grade, and I finally got to compete in a varsity meet. We went to Jamestown.

I tried out for the Ployhar honor band and got accepted. We spent October 8th practicing the songs and played in the concert on the 9th.
It was pretty fun, and we sounded really good -
State was in Jamestown on October 27. I got a time of 21 minutes and 9 seconds and placed 179th, but my fastest time for the season was 20 minutes and 49 seconds. It was quite cold, and the ground

I was in the play "The Wizard of Oz". I was a munchkin, which was a pretty small role. It went from November 14-17.

We competed at North Sargent, and I got 2nd place in my second meet ever. I also got a 1 to the first place winner, Eric Romero. I ended up state qualifying due to an A/B split.

I played in a brass ensemble group and we got a 1. I played with Cara Van Bruggen, Austin Rogelstad, Luke Plagens, Kaylee Smith, Jaytan Mcconnaughey, and Buddy Scherr.

We went to West Fargo and I got first place in Humorous, and eighth in Dramatic Interpretation.

We went to Fargo Davies and I placed first in Humorous for the second time. I didn't final in Dramatic.

I placed third in the Amvets essay contest, and my essay went on to the state level.

This was the first meet I had gone to, and I got 2:28:07 as my time.
