    There mission was to explore unknown territory that was purchased with the Lousiana purchase. They also wanted to create kind of a trade route with the natives. Lewis was teh person in charge of teh expedition.

    James Madison was one of the founding fathers of our country. He also probably inspired some important factors in the constitution. James Madison was also the 4th president of the united states
  • The War of 1812

    The War of 1812
    A war in which the US attempted to expand its borders by invading CANADA, but they failed horribly. They ended up getting their capital burnt down by the Britich who were on the same side as the Canadians. Although the US failed to invade Canada they did manage to end the war in a draw. Some people believe that the winner of the war of 1812 is a matter of oppinion and I would a gree with that.

    James Monroe was the 5th president of the United States. He signed the Monroe doctrine that warn EU countries that tried to colonize in the western hemisphere. He also helped the US' trading with countries in the EU.
