    This Compromise created a government for the Northwest territory. This also gave a method for bringing new states into the union. This helped the country expand to the Pacific. A governor was also appointed as hear if this process

    This Compromise regulated slavery in Western territory. It made it so Slavery could not be practiced in Louisiana. Gave a system which decided weather Slavery would be Prohibited in newly Admitted states. This, However did not bring about the end of slavery.
  • Annexation Of Texas

    Annexation Of Texas
    This brought Texas into America. This made Texas the 28th state to join the Union. During this Texas also declared their Independence from Mexico. Texas basically loved this Annexation

    America had really expanded by this time. This was fought on mainly foreign soil meaning that America was not aware of where they were. Mexico was unprepared for this conflict. Mexico lost the war letting America continue to spread Westward.

    Was the "Terminator" of slavery. Was stationed in the land the Americans got after the Mexican American war. He caused an uproar trying to get rid of pro-slavery country's or the newer ones trying to become pro slavery. This Led to David to help him making the problem even bigger.

    This is officially known as the treaty if peace. This is what made Mexico and America cool with each other. The treaty itself was signed on February 2, 1848. This is what ended the Mexican American war.

    This began when James Wilson Marshall discovered gold. This managed to set of a pseudo treasure hunt. People were literally running to California to fill their desires. Word spread rapidly and eventually it because a full blown treasure battle or something along those lines.

    5 bills passed by United States in 1850. This stopped a war between the North and the South for 4 years. Making the Civil war all but contemplation at the time. This basically stopped a bloodbath for 4 years.

    Was apart of the Compromise of 1850. Basically this made it easier for runaway slaves to be taken from the North back to the South. Meaning that any slave that escaped was more at risk for capture. This made it increasingly harder for slaves to escape and live normal lives.

    Basically a place where blacks we're reminded of where they stand. This further shattered their already broken souls and resolve. Uncle Tom's Cabin was basically just like saying "your worth what I say you are." Although very hurtful this did not stop black people from trying to escape to a free life.

    This took place on May 22, 1856. It took place in The United States Senate (USS). Preston Brooks attacked Charles Sumner with a walking cane. This attack was because of a Speech Sumner gave 2 days earlier.

    Bleeding Kansas was a result of the Kansas/Nebraska act. This was a civil war that was small but bloody hence the name "Bleeding Kansas." This erupted in Kansas which was small so naturally it led to a lot of innocent death. All though it was a " small" civil war the casualties we're huge.

    This was the second of 4 different constitutions for Kansas. It was looked on by the Topeka Constitution. It was before the Leavenworth and Wyandotte Constitution. Wyandotte became the Kansas State.

    Basically John Brown was gonna give slaves arms in order to kill their masters. He was an armed slave with the mind of a madman. This ultimately led to the raid itself. Sadly John Brown did no suceed.
