  • My brother was born

    My brother was born
It was a warm summer day when John Galli was born at the Putnam Hospital. I was five years old at the time and me and my sister, Lauren, arrived as soon as he was born. Me and my cousin, Ashley, who is my age, got to hold him together, a great memory I will never forget. I remember being so excited to have a new baby brother. He is 11 now, a 6th grader, and I still cannot believe how fast he grew up.

    Confirmation
On this day I made my confirmation at the Sacred Heart church. It was a day of accomplishment and relief because I had finished all of CCD! It was also very important to me because my Poppy was my sponsor. I chose him because I really do look up to him. He is very kind, intelligent and funny. I'm so glad I have someone like him in my life! This event will always be special to me and my Poppy.

    Bermuda
From August 4th to August 11th, all 22 of my family members went on a cruise to Bermuda. My grandma and poppy take us on a cruise every five years in honor of their anniversary. I am so grateful they do this for us because time with my family is always great. Every day we had great weather, either at the beach or exploring Bermuda the the three days we were docked there. I am very close with my cousins; so we had an amazing time, creating memories that are very significant to me.
  • Getting my Cat

    Getting my Cat
On this day me, my mom, and my brother, picked up our little kitten from a local Vet that had a free cat up for adoption. He was only 7 weeks old, so tiny and cute. I was beyond excited because I have always wanted a kitten. We took him home and decided to name him Bolt (my brothers choice not mine for the record). He means so much to me even though he is just a pet. To this day, he makes me so happy and will always be such a big part of my life.

    Christmas 2014
All Christmas' are great to me, but this one was special. Since I can remember, on Christmas Day all of my family goes to my grandma's house for dinner. We exchange gifts and eat food. It is always such a fun holiday because we are all so close! But this Christmas was the last in that house. My grandma and poppy moved into a different house that year. The tradition still continues, but just in a different house. The old house was just special because my mom grew up in it and had many memories.

August 1st to August 7th, I went with some of my family to Outer Banks, NC. Me and my sister went with our two aunts and two uncles and cousins. We rented out a house for the week! We also drove there, which took a very very long time. I think it added up to be twelve hours. But, it was all worth it because it is so nice and relaxing. We finally got to go with them that summer because they have been going for a few years. I am so lucky they took my sister and I because we had such a great time.
  • Passing My Road Test

    Passing My Road Test
This was also a long awaited day because I could not wait to be able to drive by myself. I prepared long and hard for it because I knew I needed to pass. I took drivers ed and also practiced frequently with my parents and sister. I was very nervous the day of my road test. My mom took me there and waited until I was done. The actual road test was fairly easy, and was very fast. I came in the parking lot smiling so my mom knew I passed, she was so proud!

    Brewster Football Game
This event is pretty recent, but still very significant to me! It was our last first football game as seniors. The players are all of our friends and we love rooting them on. All the games have been a memorable event;but I think this game will always be special to not only me but the team and my grade!
