    In the first hundred pages of this book, you get introduced to the main character of the book, Oz, and find out about his theory that something has changed over the past 20 years that is making animals all over the world act strange and very violent toward humans. He then goes to Africa with a colleague to see if he can get researach to understand whats happening
  • Pages 100-200, (total- 951)

    In these next 100 pages, Oz meets a girl and together they work on finding out what exactly is making animals act out. They get married and have a son over 4 years of research and eventually get flown to meet the president so talk it over with him and prove that there really is a problem.
  • pages 200-395, (total- 1046)

    In these last pages, Oz finds out that the reason why the animals are acting out is that with all the energy being used and gas being burned (cars, lights, heaters, etc.) that its releasing a gas that is affecting the animals in a new way that it never has so the president sends a out a message to all the people that they must stop using things like that but everyone does anyways and the animals keep attacking and people keep dying so Oz and his family move away.
