Questions raised over how Goldsmith kept his spending within legal limit set by Electoral Commission. The Bureau of Investigative Journalism and Channel 4 News scrutinised the Goldsmith campaign’s election expenses return.

Criticised Sadiq for campaigning against Babar Ahmed's extradition and pretended he barely knew who Babar Ahmed was. Politics.co.uk uncovered that he had actually campaigned for the same thing in 2012. Babar Ahmed was later convicted for giving material support to the Taliban, hence Goldsmith's attempt to disassociate himself from him.
