Jake admits he has feeling for Lylah, she doesmt feel the same way and ends up rejecting him. -
Death of Lylah’s Parents
While going to a hotel to celebrate Valentine’s Day, both the parents were involved in a car accident leaving them both dead. -
First Letter arrives
While getting ready to go out they receive the first note which is hand delivered and addressed to Sonny. This is first passed of as some prank, which later is found out to be much more then just a prank. -
Photograph/ note
While at the theatre they first receive drinks from someone they don’t know. Not soon after they recieve a photo of them that was taken at the theatre. On the back is another note once again addressed to Sonny. -
Sonny goes missing/ is found dead
No one has heard anything from Sonny or has seen him since the previous night. They just assum the best and think he spent the night somewhere. After still not hearing back from him they go to his classroom to see if he shows up. With him not being there they decide to just try to get their work done and go to the media center they rented out. This is where they found his lifeless body, and they did not yet realize his heart was cut out of his chest. -
Note
Another note is deliver to them this time addressed to Issac. Still being shaken up from the death of Sonny, they take this one more seriously. -
Nora is killed
We find out Nora is killed. She wasn’t one of the closest to their friends group which means some of te ideas they thought about why this was happening were now being questioned. -
Lylah is grabbed by somone/ another note
While being in the middle of a crowd she is taken by a string person who she assumes is Jake. After struggling he leaves and leaves a note behind. This not states that he could have her at any time, which puts them more on guard. -
Issac is found dead
Just like Sonny, Issac has not been heard from all night. More worried then before they try to keep getting in contact with him by its no use. They find him murdered and with his heart cut out of his chest. -
Note
They recieve another note with the same creepy saying as before, which is your heart will be mine. Now that they have seen 2 of their friends dead and their hearts cut open they don’t take this lightly. -
Note
This time the note states that Lylah should meet him by herself or he would strike again. Lylah not want anyone else getting hurts decide to do this, but not exactly alone. She ends up going but not meeting anyone and just finding a heart on the floor, which meant it might have been a diversion. -
Charlotte is found dead
They found charlottes lifeless body in the hood of a car by the campus. With her shirt being cut and her being exposed they could clearly see her heart wasn’t there. -
Meeting the killer/ being stabbed.
Lylah feels responsible for this so she meets up with the person responsible. When she arrives she expects it to be Jake, but she finds out its her brother. After a while of his crazy explanation of this, detectives enter with police, and Riley puts a knife to her neck. This ends by Lylah being stabbed. -
Recovery
After one year of both mentally and physically recovering, they are still trying to have a “normal life” Riley was arrested and went to a menstal institution, which he was going to a different one this same day. Right as they thought things were getting better, they recieve the last note. Which is painstakingly familiar, your heart will be mine
