The National Socialist German Worker's Party, Nazi Party for short was formed in 19020. The group formed because they all shared the belief that Germany had to overturn the Treaty of Versailles and combat communism. The symbol that represented the group was the swastika. The groups had a private militia called brown shirts. Adolf Hitler was the Leader of this powerful group.

Vladimir Lenin, was a Russian communist revolutionary, politician, and political theorist. He was the leader of the Bolsheviks. Vladimir had to hide in Western Europe so he could avoid getting arrested. When Lenin died the government brought him to Red Square in Moscow. Th body is in a bulletproof glass coffin where people can now go and look at the preserved body.

Mohandas K. Gandhi was an Indian nationalist and spiritual leader who developed the practice of nonviolent disobedience that forced Great Britain to grant independence to India. Gandhi and his people walked about 240 miles to the seacoast, there they made their own salt. This was done because the government told India that they were not allowed to buy salt from anywhere but the government. There for his march was India's peaceful protest to show the government that they will not follow the law.

The first concentration camp was Dachau, established in 1933 about 10 miles Northwest from Munich. Around 5,000 inmates could be held at one time, with two sections. One called the camp area and the other would be the crematorium.

Hitler wanted to create an idealistic utopia, believing that children were a good way to reach this goal. He wanted to protect the future of Nazism. Then once he was in power, he'd put an end to the organization. Hitler basically wanted to "brainwash" children as soon as possible, while young. He wanted to teach boys to be soldiers by training, and girls to become housewives.
