    Ended WW1 by the Peace Treaty of Versailles. It was the nations united as one and came to peace. I believe this is historically significant because it brought together the nations and if it didn't, war would have continued.

  • Women Gained Right to Vote

    Women had gained the right to vote for who runs for president. I believe this is historically significant because it is what helped lead us to the society that we have today and gave women their first step to equality.

    The first olympic winter games was played on this day, took place in the French Alps. Consisted of Bobsled and 12 other events. I believe this is an important event because it is and event that brings us together to honorhonor our country.

  • ST. Valentines Day Massacre

  • KKK Teriozed the Nation

    The KKK marched in large crowds through the streets to testify that all blacks be removed. I believe this is an important event because it brought chaos to the nation and many towns were destroyed.

  • Spanish Civil War Begins

    Took place from 1936 to 1939 and was fought between the Republicans. Caused from when the Spanish Army rose up against the democratically elected Republican government. This is an important date because it was a big mark on the Spanish.

    When the U.S. went bankrupt and the americans struggled to find jobs and a way to make money. Many were layed off from their jobs and were forced to sell valuables and their homes. I believe this is a significant event because it was an event that really hurt America.
