    Archduke Franz Ferdinand was a austro-hungarian man who was shot and killed. His pregnant wife Sophie was also shot and killed. They were killed by a bosian serb nationalist. I would decline this because this assination lead a spark to the outbreak of WWI by early August. This also led to the death of many people.

    The battle of vimy ridge is when they helped unify the country. During this battle Canadians didn't need to rely on Britain and it was a huge success for them.

    This event was when WWI ended. It ended on November 11, 1918. By the end of WWI 638,562 Canadians served in the Canadian Armed Forces and 60,661 were killed.
