Gen Eisenhower announces the unconditional surrender of Italy to the Allies in WW II. The Germans reacted and started Operation Axis, the Allies, Operation Avalanche. Germany invaded Italy and slaughtered at least 1646 Italian soldiers and shot 5000 people. -

It is Ms. Van Daan's birthday. She gets presents like flowers, jam, and coupons. Elli has also been stressed out because of all the errands she's doing, her relationship problems, her father and the ill people like Miep and Mr. Koophuis. Mr Van Daan also looks angrier and Anne's father too. -

Allied forces captures Naples during WW II. The Allies arrived on Oct 1st 1943 while Germany was also attacking the city, that made the population rebel against Germany. Everything ended when the Allies arrived. Meanwhile, Germany was also attackinbg Denmark for jews.
