The day before, Margot recieved a letter to be deported to a labor camp so the Franks went into hiding. They brought all the clothes they could wear and some other things to keep them busy in the Annex.

Fritz Pfeffer (Mr. Dussel in the Anne Frank play) joined the Franks and the Van Pels in hiding, becoming the eigth and final member of the Secret Annex.

The Franks are betrayed and are arrested. They were taken to a police station and eventually to Westerbork Transit Camp.

Anne, Morgot, and Mrs. Van Pels were transported to Bergen-Belson, another concentration camp while Mrs. Frank stayed in Auschwitz-Berkaneu.
